Invesp looked at US online retail sales data and trends, but with a few global stats thrown in for good measure.
The findings reveal that global ecommerce trends topped $1 trillion for the first time in 2012 – with the Asia-Pacific region estimated to make up a third of worldwide online sales this year.
This is predicted to grow to almost 40% by 2016, while North America’s share of online sales will fall slightly from approximately 31.5% to 28.2%.
