I define accouterments as the unique accessories or attributes that make up someone’s individuality.
Accouterments are an important part of life. They embody personality. And without any sort of personality, we can’t stand out in a crowd.
Sometimes, accouterments aren’t obvious. Some people possess accouterments that aren’t superficial, but rather one layer inward. As soon as you get to know these people, their accouterments often scream at you even more.
My accouterments are both external and internal. I have a certain style of dress – a certain look that defines who I am. At the same time, my introversion offers another layer of personality. You just have to chip away at it a bit before you can identify it.
