May’s 30 Day Challenge

I’m starting from scratch in May. I’m keeping it simple. I feel stretched so thin that I need to focus again on the things I truly need to improve upon. For me, those things aren’t business-related anymore. My business initiatives are all smooth sailing (for the most part).

Looking inwards, these are things I’m still trying to perfect:

  • Stock trading (or a more robust understanding of the market)
  • Piano
  • Guitar

If I limit it to these 3, I can begin making these 30 day challenges more specific. After all, I’m already working on my #16Innovations initiative and simultaneously raising twin infants.

I have enough on my plate right now, so focusing on the above is what’s going to be most feasible and most satisfying for me.

Therefore, May will bring about stock chart studying. I’ve ordered a new DVD set that overviews technical analysis and the history of Japanese candles. I’m also working on ways to automate market scanning. Finally, I’ve started testing calls and puts.

The market will undoubtedly keep me occupied in May. My commitment will be to learn something new everyday. If I’m successful, we’ll have to reassess where I end up at the end of the month.
