I didn’t intend to be quiet here this week. Even during my travels, my goal is always to put pen to paper and ship my thoughts daily. Little did I know, however, that I’d have so much connectivity issues during this trip. So that’s my excuse for this week. Please forgive me.
Canada has been amazing. We’ve spent the past week in Alberta at Banff National Park and the landscape is indescribable. It’s sort of North America’s best kept secret. Who knew Canada had the more beautiful side of the Rocky Mountains?
Here are a few other takeaways from the trip so far:
– French is much more widespread in Canada than you think. It’s not just Quebec.
– Everybody here loves the Bluejays. Perhaps they are forced, but it’s a nationwide love.
– Canadian girls love noserings. A ton of young girls sport them and I haven’t figured out why.
– Poutine is a delicious treat. Why hasn’t something as simple as French fries with gravy and cheese conquered the US?
I just thought I’d check in whole I can. Please check out my social profiles for some of the gorgeous pics we’ve been taking.
